Screen Producers Awards 2019: winners

Bluey producers Ludo Studios are the big winners at the annual Screen Producers Awards.

Ludo Studios were the big winners at the Screen Producers Awards held last night in Melbourne, hosted by Ed Kavalee.

Ludo won Production Business of the Year from a competitive field of production companies.

Two of their productions were also recognised with Bluey as Animated Series Production of the Year and Robbie Hood as Online Production of the Year.

Ludo also tied for Screen Business Export of the Year with Porchlight Films for Animal Kingdom (now in its 4th season in the US).

Matchbox Pictures won the SDIN Diversity Award with Mustangs FC as Children’s Series Production of the Year. Producer Kevin Whyte saw both Rosehaven and The Weekly with Charlie Pickering awarded.

In Drama both Bloom and Lambs of God were winners.

Former managing director at Film Finances, Anni Browning, was presented with the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award and Top End Wedding won the Feature Film category.
