Former Nine Head of Production and Development Trent Chapman to develop shows for Seven.

Seven Studios has appointed former Nine Head of Production and Development Trent Chapman as Head of Development.
Whilst at Nine his productions included Travel Guides, Married At First Sight, Same Time Next Year, The Hot Plate, 20 to ONE and The Last Resort.Â
Chapman has previously worked at Endemol Shine Australia as head of production and development. He also spent 11 years at Seven as an executive producer on The Amazing Race Australia, The Mole, Beauty and the Geek Australia and World’s Strictest Parents.
He will now report to Seven Studios Director of Production, non-scripted, Andrew Backwell.

Actually I added more than the original article linked including 20-1. After multiple seasons I think Nine would deem it a success, certainly on the cost front.
Not a great record of in house development at Nine in recent years.

Let’s be fair. Travel Guides, Married At First Sight, Same Time Next Year have all done well, one in particular.
Is remaking a successful overseas format still counted as development ?
Clearly an adaptation, and ESA took it further. Clearly there were titles you still left off, but the article offered a range. Also his title was Prdn and Dev.
