Here’s a random post for Wentworth fans…
A couple of weeks ago I made a set visit for the announcement of new cast members. Joining other media all of the attention was on the feature cast.
But I noticed two other ‘inmates’ sitting quietly in the background and decided to say hello.
That’s when Lauri McLennan (left) & Eloise Wright (right) told me they were permanent extras on the series …and if I’m not mistaken since the show began.
I promised them I’d post their pics, so during this quiet news time, seems like as good a time as any!
It takes a village to make TV, even when it’s in the slammer.

Prisoner did the same. An extra by the name of Barbara Jungwirth was amongst a few who were there for it’s entire run.
Where in Melbourne, Australia is this Show Filmed at ?

I’ve noticed these ladies in episodes. It’s the attention to detail, keeping consistency with extras that make it believable.
Good on you David for highlighting people that aren’t part of the feature cast. They certainly look the part, definitely not the sort of girls one would take home to mum lol.
