The 8th and final season of Homeland will be fast-tracked to SBS VICELAND next month.
Back for its final season, the eighth instalment of Homeland finds Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) recovering from months of brutal confinement in a Russian gulag. Her body is healing, but her memory remains fractured – which is a problem for Saul (Mandy Patinkin), now National Security Advisor to the newly ascendant President Warner (Beau Bridges).
The top priority of Warner’s young administration is an end to the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan, and Saul has been dispatched to engage the Taliban in peace negotiations. But Kabul teems with warlords and mercenaries, zealots and spies – and Saul needs the relationships and expertise that only his protégé can provide. Against medical advice, Saul asks Carrie to walk with him into the lion’s den – one last time.
8:30pm Monday, 10 February on SBS VICELAND.

I missed this last night. Do you know if it will go on SBS On Demand this week too?
Already added.
While Homeland has had a rocky season or two, I’ve been a fan from the get go and love Carrie’s flawed character.. Hope we get a great finale.
Like me if you’ve come this far then worth sticking it out for a good payoff. Agree some seasons not great, but usually where writers have a finish line they can plot a ride. It’s when they don’t have one things suffer.
I can’t wait to see this final season. Really looking forward to it. Been a fan the whole series.
Don’t think I’ll bother this time round-nothing could be made up that’s as bizarre and unlikely as the actual current situation.
