Aussie Rose Byrne has been cast in Physical, an upcoming dramedy for Apple TV+.
The series is set in a 1980s Southern California beach community. It follows a woman (Byrne) struggling in her life as a quietly tortured housewife who finds an unconventional path to power through an unlikely source: the world of aerobics.
Annie Weisman (About a Boy, The Bold Type, Suburgatory, Desperate Housewives) will serve as writer, executive producer, and showrunner.
Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids, Spy, Instant Family, Damages) will next appear in the Mrs. America for FX.
