Jordan Peele’s new drama series Hunters drops on Amazon Prime on Friday.

The series follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City and features Al Pacino.

It also stars Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker, Lena Olin and Aussie Kate Mulvany.

The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the US. The eclectic team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.

Hunters, produced by Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Sonar Entertainment, was created by David Weil (Moonfall), who serves as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside executive producer Nikki Toscano. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (American Horror Story) directed the pilot and is an executive producer.

The series is executive produced by Win Rosenfeld (The Twilight Zone, Lorena) from Monkeypaw Productions; Nelson McCormick (Prison Break); Tom Lesinski (Mr. Mercedes) from Sonar Entertainment.

Friday February 21 on Amazon Prime.

  1. A bit early to give opinions I guess but at first sight it looks like Hunters borrows from mission Impossible, Homeland, The American’s, with Fauda added for good measure. Hunters looks promising though.
I will be interested to see how physically active Al Pacino will be in his role, after appearing in The Irishman making small screen productions with big budgets must appeal to him.

  2. I am so excited for this! The trailers have been amazing… The cast look like they are having a blast and I like the concept of the show a lot. It whiffs (favourably) of Amazon’s 2019 breakout shot ‘The Boys’ in that I believe it will be well received and just irreverent enough to stand out from the crowd without being overly controversial.

    1. The Boys attracted me because of Karl Urban who is not getting enough screen opportunities in my opinion. The Boys could have been more irreverent if an article I read is true, the makers got a bit nervous with some of the sexually explicit ideas used and canned them.
