  1. @tvaddict, they are already “”panic buying”, I guess the next step is cleaning out the supermarkets full stop, and all the asiles will be completely cleaned out, not just toilet paper but everything. It will look like something out of a Horror film.

    1. i meant panic buying not just toilet paper & pasta but everything they can get their hands on. Now that i’ve watched it though, it was so thoroughly uninformative i’m no longer as worried lol. I expected at least some of it to be about reassuring people to wash their hands etc, or saying what would happen if we need to go into a partial or total lockdown etc. But it was pretty much him just repeating what he’s been saying in media conferences & giving the govt a big pat on the back, what a waste of time!

    2. I watched it, and it was nothing but self-congratulatory egocentric trash from Scotty from Marketing. There was no information about what would happen in case of lockdown or anything, just spin from someone who was missing in action during the bushfires and turned a blind eye to the corruption within Sport Australia. I feel that Scotty from Marketing has actually dug himself a bigger hole than what he started with.

I think at this time, we need information, not spin. So I am in agreement with you here.

  2. For the first time in a long time, 10 is probably glad it doesn’t have big sporting rights, potentially leaving holes in its schedule. Not that its Friday – Sundays are all that flash anyway…

  3. One suspects things are going to move rather more quickly from here now in terms of government responses and ‘social distancing’ measures
