  1. Shows always rate highest when they premiere. Not in same category but NRL did the same after the long break and the week after numbers declined. Expect AFL to do the same to some degree

    1. Yeah seems business as normal for Melbourne and Adelaide with Sydney and Brisbane being way up (doubled plus some) even on only Victorian Teams, so that will make Seven happy for now. However as you say it will likely drop-off and when I say Melbourne was normal, yes Thursday was high however it was Collingwood and Richmond who often get 70-80,000 at the MCG so for mine it was expected they’d tune in in big numbers (last year that game was 417,000, this 668,000 so 251,000 up with no crowd at the game) .

  2. The best episode of 60 minutes in years. The investigation into the corruption taking place in the Labor Party in Victoria was more like what you expect from a Four Corners investigation. Powerful TV.

  3. I don’t think people should be so quick to write off Big Brother. Yes, the total numbers dropped into 600’s but it still performing strongly in the demos. Social media engagement is strong too (ie) conversations/interactions on FB, Twitter, Instagram, and not to mention BVOD numbers. There’s more to a shows success or peoples opinions of lack there-of then overnight ratings. In the big picture, I think this format still has life in it, and it’s delivering well so far for Ch7 in the current climate of things.

  4. Hello David , how did the NRL go on 9 yesterday , i know the game was changed due to a Covid scare , i wonder if people thought it wouldn’t be on , thank you.

  5. Ouch for Big Brother, but not surprising really. Congrats to Masterchef for coming out on top of the 3 reality shows, was an epic episode last night.
