Andrew Olle Media Lecture cancelled for 2020

The ABC has announced the cancellation of this year’s Andrew Olle Media Lecture due to COVID-19.

The 2020 lecture was scheduled to be held in Sydney in mid-November.

The event will return in November 2021 with an announcement mid next year on who will deliver the 2021 lecture.

Last year’s address was given by Peter FitzSimons. Previous Olle presenters include Caroline Wilson, Joseph Kahn, Waleed Aly, Lisa Wilkinson, Helen McCabe, Kate McClymont, Mark Colvin, Laurie Oakes, Ray Martin, John Hartigan, John Doyle, Lachlan Murdoch, Kerry Stokes and Jana Wendt.
