  1. Ten really should be ashamed of their programming last night – yes, COVID is a factor but lots better things they could be doing than a prime time game show.

    ABC really did well for a Sunday with some international drama offerings – both Vera and Shetland proved very interesting viewing and were well rewarded. I was surprised they did not dominate the demographics as well but I suppose detective style series trend older.

    Plate of Origin was a very poor production. Desperately slow with the presented reiterating every point three times and just languid repetition of shots. Desperately needed more pace.

    Between Two Worlds is now officially the failure of the year though.

    1. I wouldn’t call the UK/BBC stuff ‘international’-these types of products have been core ABC programming for their older demographics for many decades, and very successfully so. It’s been their local product that’s had problems getting a good audience.
