Airdate: La Línea: Shadow of Narco

Netflix doco centres on drug trafficking in La Linea, a city between Morocco & Gibraltar.

Netflix enthusiasm for all things drug trafficking continues in a new documentary series La Línea: Shadow of Narco, this time turning attention to Europe.

A docu series that tells the story of La Linea, the city in the south of Spain, between Morocco and Gibraltar, and at the cross-roads of drugs, cigarettes, and migrant trafficking. Very cinematic and witness to dramatic events, the camera of director Pepe Mora gives us a visceral portrait of the protagonists on both sides of the law.

Wednesday September 9 on Netflix.

Cigarettes are dirt cheap in Gibraltar, due to low tax imposed by the Gibraltar Government.

Walking home from work at 4am was also filled with trepidation due to the many lookouts who hang out in walking strip from the border to…
