UK comedy Staged, starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen, is coming to ABC Comedy.

Tennant and Sheen were due to put on a play in the West End before the production was put on hold because of the pandemic.

The play’s director, Simon Evans, is worried that his big break is about to pass him by and tries to convince his doubtful actors to carry on rehearsals online.

The 6 part series sees Tennant and Sheen play fictionalised versions of themselves trying to rehearse a performance of Luigi Pirandello’s Six Characters in Search of an Author.

8:30pm Monday September 21 on ABC Comedy.
