  1. Totally agree – MasterChef last night was great viewing but should have finished earlier to suit a family audience. Channel 10 should cut back the project to 30 min and start their programming at 7- this would shake thing up a bit. Half the project these days is looking at YouTube clips and chatter about nothing- often the news story is 90 sec with 4 min of back and forth chatter and lame jokes.

  2. I love Junior Masterchef….anyone who missed it ….missed some excellent viewing….
Not too late for pre teens/teens audience….any younger would not really get it anyway.

  3. Perhaps if 10 is truly wanting Junior Masterchef to be family viewing, they should consider keeping the episodes as close as possible to one hour long, instead of dragging it out until almost 9:30pm, like it did last night. Far too long and too late for young children to be staying up.

    1. I’d believe launch show was longer as introduced them all which was well done and you wouldn’t want anyone to miss out due to being edited out, then tasting all 14 dishes, hopefully shorter episode to come but usually launch episodes are the longest alongside the finale.

    1. Our house and extended family all watch Masterchef, but none of us even knew this had started.
It’s also the wrong time of year for cooking shows, they need to be at the beginning of winter when people are making guilt free comfort food. Don’t kill the recently resurrected golden goose!
