Casting has opened for 10’s upcoming craft series Making It.

Produced by Matchbox Pictures and Eureka Productions the series is based on a concept by US producers Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman. A $100,000 prize is on offer.

“Whether you are a late-night garage tinkerer, an Etsy-preneur, or everyone’s favourite crafting grandma, we want you to apply!” a casting notice declares.

“You could be a household hacker, a DIY decorator, a quilter, knitter, a scrapbooker, basket weaver, needle pointer, wood worker, accessory or jewellery maker, doll maker, textile maker, potter, hand-builder, paper crafter, leather or denim worker, costume maker, an artisan or maker of any type… basically any super creative person who loves making things by hand…”

Applicants must be 18 years or older and available for 2 to 7 weeks filming from March – May 2021.
