NSW prop maker George has been named winner of Making It Australia.
The ‘Master Maker’ title carries a $100,000 prize, visualised on a giant timber cheque.
Last night her ‘pop up party’ defeated creations by Architect Jack from Victoria and Animator Rizaldy from NSW.
“It’s been a frickin’ awesome experience. I’ve had a blast. A massively excellent time!” she said.
“All of these Makers who are so unreal are my friends for life.”
The ambitious 10 series hosted by Susie Youssef and Harley Breen failed to attract enough viewers to stay in its original timeslot and was bumped to Saturdays after just two weeks.

Ten should leave lifestyle tv alone …after the Living Room re-boot fiasco its pretty obvious they don’t have a clue !
As for Making It – a celebrity lead series in the USA – making a local version of this “format “ – Really? is no guarantee of success downunder.
Again Ten programming proves it doesn’t have a handle on exactly what it’s small pool of viewers want to watch .
This must’ve been the lowest rating Finale of a reality show ever ?
Actually there have been a few, I might try to assemble a post.
Maybe if they had made more complex projects over a few episodes instead of making “challenge” quickie stuff
I notice that the cheque states “Season 1”.
That’s optimistic.
David ,what did the final ever making it rate please ,did it even get to 6 figures.
134k.
A dollar for each viewer
