SAS Australia culls Firass Dirani, Candice Warner.

Two celebs may not have given up, but they were still sent packing.

After weeks of castigating actor Firass Dirani in SAS Australia challenges, instructor Ant Middleton made the call to cut him from the series last night.

The former House Husbands and Underbelly star was sent packing following a gruelling 3hr trek through snow and a freezing swim submerged beneath ice.

With just a week to go, Middleton declared he was going to eliminate weaker participants, although neither Dirani nor Warner choosing to quit.

In the end, he even told Dirani, his participation had “been an absolute pleasure”.

Warner was also culled, describing her as showing “weakness in certain areas” -despite her completing the ice swim and not coming last in the snow trek.

Just 2 episodes remain in the series with Erin McNaught, James Magnussen, Merrick Watts, Molly Taylor, Nick Cummins, Sabrina Frederick, Shannan Ponton all still contenders for the finish line.

  1. I wonder if they culled because they were expecting more people would be quitting and they haven’t.

Also a bit surprised by Candice. I thought she did really well and gave it everything. But last night we saw Ant speak to Firass & we saw him say to Candice wait in the room but we didn’t see him speak to her or say goodbye. I wonder if he did.
