The Block tops Sunday in final reveal

Ratings: Nine had a dream Sunday run, winning slots from 6pm onwards.

Nine had a dream primetime run across Sunday, winning its slots from 6pm onwards.

The Block was #1 with at 977,000 rising to 1.07m for the final Room Winner. Fans can see the Open for Inspection on 9Now from 7:3pm tonight.

That was ahead of Beat the Chasers (630,000), Restoration Australia (525,000) and The Graham Norton Show (294,000).

Later 60 Minutes led (526,000) then Crime Investigation Australia (337,000) and Roadkill (351,000).

Nine network won Sunday with 34.2% then Seven 26.5%, ABC 16.4%, 10 15.3% and SBS 7.7%

Nine News won its slot at 949,000 and a late edition was 271,000.

Seven News drew 922,000 for Seven. Killer Tapes was 217,000.

ABC News pulled 655,000 for ABC. Total Control (100,000) and The Sound (86,000) followed.

The Sunday Project managed 393,000 / 267,000 for 10. 10 News First was 322,000 then FBI: Most Wanted (154,000) and Blood & Treasure (137,000).

On SBS it was SBS World News (175,000), The True Story Of King Tut’s Treasure (136,000) and Andre The Giant (124,000).

Bluey of course led multichannels at 204,000.

  1. Best of both worlds – watch Beat the Chasers live, and The Block encore the next day. I love the banter between the Chasers, especially Brydon who has a comic turn.

  2. My kids noticed that at judging on last night’s Block, Scott Cam was a different colour and was never seen in the same shot as the contestants. Assume that when it finished in mid July they he was not able to get back to Melbourne for filming so was done at a different time.

    1. He was living in the Melbourne apartment he bought from the producers a couple of years back so he could be based there for the 10 weeks of filming. In one episode he was a bit lonely so had one couple over for lunch on a Saturday.
