Two observational series for Nine are back in production.
Paramedics is now filming in Melbourne by WTFN while Emergency returns to the Royal Melbourne Hospital on Monday and will continue to February.
This season has the added context of a pandemic for its storytelling, but crew will be COVID safe while working on the hospital floor as well as understanding the correct measures required to stay safe such as appropriate PPE and cleaning of equipment.
Patient care remains RMH’s priority and the crew will be asked to leave where it is not appropriate for filming.
Emergency has been sold to Sweden, New Zealand, Netherlands, and Brunei.
Episodes for both shows will screen in 2021 on Nine.

Emergency recently aired in the UK…..great observational docs. Currently airing in the UK is Ambulance Australia Season 3…..much prefer this one than Paramedics, although they have similar formats.
Loved watching both shows in 2020 and I’m certainly looking forward to supporting the series again next year. Thank you to all those paramedics and doctors and nurses, especially with what they have had to do in 2020!
