US magic series Penn & Teller: Fool Us has been renewed for an 8th season.
Hosted by actress Alyson Hannigan, the series sees aspiring magicians performing their best trick to US duo Penn & Teller. Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform in their show in Las Vegas.
According to The CW the show is their highest-performing unscripted series.
It screens in Australia on ABC Comedy, which is about to be refreshed as ABC TV Plus.

Great news!!! We love Fool Us!!
I find this is a great show and concept utilising their skills and talents. Penn & Teller are very charismatic. They’ve been performing and researching magic for decades so the attempts to fool them have to be exceptionally good to be successful, which is a major drawcard for the show. I thought Penn & Teller: Bulls…! was also another great series from the duo. I hope it is picked up by ABC TV Plus or even the main ABC as it is one of the shows that I will go out of my way to watch when it’s on.
