Sharon Osbourne tests positive to COVID-19

"After a brief hospitalization, I'm now recuperating," says The Talk presenter.

The Talk‘s Sharon Osbourne yesterday confirmed on social media she had tested positive to COVID-19 and had been briefly hospitalised.

She wrote, “I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for COVID-19. After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while The Talk is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy.”

Her announcement follows co-presenter Carrie Ann Inaba testing positive last Thursday.

“As you can see, Carrie Ann is not here with us today,” Sheryl Underwood told viewers last week. “She found out this morning that she tested positive for COVID-19. Obviously, our thoughts are with her, we love her, and we’re praying for a full recovery. And, out of an abundance of caution, Mrs. O will be doing the show from home today, even though she tested negative for the coronavirus.”

“I send all my love and prayers to Carrie Ann,” said Sharon Osbourne.

Thursday’s show was the scheduled last day of production for 2020, and the show is on hiatus until Jan. 4.
