Seems like dumbed down ‘You Can’t Ask That’.
The limited episode count does make it seem like a backdoor pilot.
It also looks desperately cheap in a time when the dollars really need to be seen on screen.
Just what this country needs –
A non medical person telling us whether we should be taking the Covid vaccine.
Like all of the “health ministers” in this country with no medical/healthcare background or qualifications whatsoever.
I spy a two episode pilot.
And is it any wonder that people are tuning out of 10 when they produce so many unambitious “talking head” shows with (mostly) the same old faces? I’m guessing that they’re testing the waters with a similarly-budgeted show in case they decide to pull the plug on Hughsey.
This looks interesting.
Are Joel and Julie really sitting side by side ? She has been spoken about, rather unfavourably, in his stand-up.
Did cross my mind, but it wouldn’t work on air as greenscreen. Maybe it’s just solo chats.
