Airdate: The Big Shot with Bethenny

US Reality TV personality, entrepreneur, and author Bethenny Frankel is fronting a new competition reality show on hayu, The Big Shot with Bethenny.

The show searches for a Vice President of Operations of her business … which sounds a lot like aother format, but it does have Mark Burnett as an executive producer.

It begins on Friday, same day as the US.

Fusing the reality of Bethenny’s always-on-the-move life with the demands of her core pursuits – business, brand partnerships, and charitable endeavours – The Big Shot with Bethenny finds ten candidates vying to prove themselves capable of crushing the immense pressures of being Frankel’s second-in-command. As the competition progresses, the challenges grow increasingly difficult and consequential, putting the drive, vision, and business-savvy of Bethenny’s future protégé to the ultimate test.

Frankel is a self-made businesswoman, TV producer, multiple New York Times bestselling author, and mother. A frequent collaborator of MGM Worldwide Television Group Chairman Mark Burnett, Frankel appeared as a shark on two seasons of ABC’s critically acclaimed series “Shark Tank”, and was the series’ highest rated guest shark to-date. Frankel is the Founder & CEO of Skinnygirl, a lifestyle brand offering practical solutions to women, and former star of the popular Bravo series “The Real Housewives of New York City”. In 2011, she was named one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Celebrities by Forbes.

The Big Shot with Bethenny is executive produced by Mark Burnett, Alex Baskin, Douglas Ross, Barry Poznick, Bethenny Frankel, Jaimie Glasson, Brian McCarthy. The series is produced by Evolution Media, B Reality Productions and MGM Television and internationally distributed by MGM.
