Ruth Wilson and Andrew Scott star in HBO film based on Tony winning play, on Binge.

HBO film Oslo, adapted from the Tony Award-winning play of the same name, is coming to Binge.

Starring Ruth Wilson and Andrew Scott it is based on a true story of the negotiations between Israel and Palestine that led to the 1993 Oslo Peace Accords with secret back-channel talks, unlikely friendships and quiet heroics of a small but committed group of Israelis, Palestinians and one Norwegian couple.

Ruth Wilson takes on the role of Mona Juul, a Norwegian foreign minister, with Andrew Scott as husband and Norwegian sociologist, Terje Rød-Larsen.

The film also stars Salim Daw (Fauda); Waleed Zuaiter (The Spy, Ramy); Jeff Wilbusch (Unorthodox); Igal Naor (Fauda); Dov Glickman (Shtisel, Stockholm); Rotem Keinan (Fauda); Itzik Cohen (Fauda); Tobias Zilliacus (Thicker Than Water); and Sasson Gabay (Sirens, Stockholm) .

Oslo is written and executive produced by Tony Award winner J.T. Rogers, who also wrote the stage play. The film is directed and executive produced by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher (South Pacific). Cambra Overend is executive producer. Emmy-winning and Academy Award nominated Marc Platt (La La Land, Bridge of Spies), Jared LeBoff and Adam Siegel are executive producers for Marc Platt Productions. Academy Award nominee Kristie Macosko Krieger (The Post, Bridge of Spies) and Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg (Schindler’s List, Saving Private Ryan) are executive producers for DreamWorks Pictures. David Litvak is executive producer for Bold Films.
