Fremantle will shoot a US pilot for a new game show Boxed in Sydney and is looking for expat Americans.
“You don’t need any specific skills, just be up for having some serious fun and you could win some serious cash!,” a casting notice announced. “2 players pick 10 boxes from a warehouse studio crammed with boxes – half the boxes contain big money, others hold negative amounts and the rest contain mystery cards that can change the game in an instant. In the end the one with the most money wins.”
Filming for the pilot is one day only on the 29th of June in Sydney (and yes, participants keep the prize winnings).
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and a US citizen currently residing in Australia.

Do we know why American expats? I’m assuming it’s an American show but they can’t/don’t want to film in America?
Yes. Like the recently filmed Name That Tune. They’ll pretend they live in America (assuming they’ll just use their US hometown name).
OMG, American television is officially getting dumber & dumber!
I never saw it but heard about it. BP Pick a Box lol
So, instead of Deal or No Deal, it’s Box or No Box?!
So if you end up with a negative amount at the end of it, does that mean they make you pay? 😂
