AFL wins the week for Seven

Ratings: Seven claims another ratings week. Meanwhile there are problems elsewhere in multichannels & Saturdays.

AFL again proved to be the icing on Seven’s cake last week, with Melbourne lockdown drawing hefty shares on Friday & Saturday (including 40.9% for the latter).

Have You Been Paying Attention? performed in Entertainment then Celebrity Apprentice, Travel Guides and Hard Quiz.

Spotlight continues to do strong business for Seven. Australia’s Biggest Singalong boosted SBS on Saturday although the average audience across two hours was just 148,000.

Nine’s multichannels continue to trail 10 and Seven while ABC is struggling on Saturdays, where it used to be a force.

Seven led the demos 16-39 and 25-54.

Seven won every night except Tuesday, claimed by Nine. ABC bettered 10 on Friday.

Seven again won Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth with Nine holding Sydney & Brisbane.

Nine: Nine News (Sun: 1.14m), Celebrity Apprentice (Sun Boardroom: 796,000), Travel Guides (662,000) and A Current Affair (Sat: 547,000).

10: Have You Been Paying Attention? (759,000), MasterChef Australia (Mon: 661,000), The Project (Sun: 486,000) and 10 News First (391,000).
