Sport ruled Nine's Monday, while One Plus One left ABC under-performing.

Sport ruled Nine’s Monday with a combination of Australian Ninja Warrior and Wimbledon helping it to win the night.

9GEM pulled a 4.9% share with Ash Barty at Wimbledon topping multichannels at 243,000 metro viewers.

Earlier 7:30 won its slot at 721,000 but at nearly two hours Australian Ninja Warrior did well with 709,000 and topped entertainment.

It was neck and neck with Farmer Wants a Wife (697,000), then MasterChef Australia (626,000) and One Plus One (392,000).

Later Have You Been Paying Attention? was 657,000 then Media Watch (440,000), Four Corners (419,000), Emergency (340,000) and 9-1-1: Lone Star (299,000).

Nine network claimed Monday at 31.2% then Seven 25.9%, 10 20.9%, ABC 15.4% and SBS 6.6%.

Nine News (1.11m / 1.06m) was best for Nine. A Current Affair won its slot at 806,000 then Hot Seat (569,000 / 348,000). A late play for Footy Classified and 100% Footy were 102,000 / 88,000 across the network, respectively.

Seven News was #1 at 1,19m / 1.14m for Seven. Home & Away did well at 645,000 then The Chase (614,000 / 361,000). SWAT was 157,000.

The Project drew 482,000 / 334,000 for 10. 10 News First was 442,000 / 307,000. Steph Tisdall: Identity Steft was 141,000.

ABC News pulled 767,000 for ABC. The Drum (213,000) and Murder 24 / 7 (165,000) followed.

On SBS it was SBS World News (182,000 / 162,000), Secrets of the Tower of London (177,000), Secret Scotland (152,000), Mastermind (82,000) and 24 Hours in Emergency (80,000).
