Ash Barty triumph tops ratings week

Despite the very late screening, there was nothing bigger last week than Wimbledon.

Ash Barty’s triumph at Wimbledon had audiences glued to their couches on Saturday night.

While OzTAM preliminary figures indicate 1.39m metro viewers were watching Live coverage, Nine advises the number time adjusted (11pm-1.04am) was 1.49m. They climb higher still with regional viewers factored in.

Nine won the week despite a strong entry from Seven’s Farmer Wants a Wife.

Nine led on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday. Seven claimed Thursday and Friday. ABC bettered 10 on Friday & Saturday.

Seven claimed Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth. Nine won Sydney & Brisbane.
