Big night of Thursday sport

Seven pipped Nine for a Thursday win. Without its cooking show 10 sank.

Who needs entertainment when you have Live sport from across the globe on Thursday?

Seven and Nine drew big shares last night – but without its cooking show, that sent 10 plummeting.

Including SBS here’s how their best numbers stacked up across various channels: Seven’s AFL (534,000), Wimbledon (508,000), Thursday Night NRL (376,000) and Tour de France (109,000).

Meanwhile, 7:30 led its slot at 585,000 then an extended Home & Away (569,000 / 469,000 from 7pm), Foreign Correspondent (373,000), Diana’s Decades (246,000) and Great Asian Railway Journeys (143,000).

Seven network won Thursday with 32.9% then Nine 31.1%, 10 14.2%, ABC 14.1% and SBS 7.7%.

Seven News was #1 at 1.09m / 1.06m for Seven. The Chase drew 563,000 / 317,000 while movie: The Other Woman was 238,000 across the network.

Nine News (1.03m / 991,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair (721,000 ) won its slot then Hot Seat (542,000 / 353,000). Meanwhile in 3 cities numbers were Paramedics (176,000), King’s Cross ER (173,000), and RBT (171,000).

The Project managed 435,000 / 302,000 for 10. 10 News First was 365,000 / 245,000. SVU fell to just 143,000 / 137,000.

ABC News was 690,000 for ABC. Later Q+A was 269,000 then The Drum (173,000) and Australia Debates at just 111,000.

SBS World News drew 169,000 / 139,000 on SBS. The Good Fight was 106,000.

Bluey topped multichannels again at 199,000.
