  1. There is great viewing on the other channels if you look. I still can’t believe how people are glued to the Olympics every night. It’s so boring. I’m glad that Beauty and the Geek and the Bachelor are on he other channels. And I have Foxtel. But there’s also great shows on ABC and SBS Viceland.

  2. Agree strongly, when networks ‘run dead’ in order to five their so-called competitors clean air it creates a suggestion that there is no competition and they simply do not want viewers. If I was an advertiser I would be asking for discounts or my money back if I paid for a prime time slot and the network failed to screen any content that met minimum expectations. This is the time for the biggest of the big guns to be launched across every platform to highlight diversity of content and quality.

    1. No, no it isn’t-most folks are more interested in the sugar rush of the Olympics-it’s just a waste of valuable programming to show it now especially for 10 and 9 who are short on it at any time these days.
