Airdate: Lie with Me

Australian made drama with Charlie Brooks & Brett Tucker gets its premiere on 10.

Australian made drama Lie with Me will screen on 10 from later this month.

The 4 x 60-minute series, produced by Fremantle, stars Charlie Brooks (EastEnders) and Brett Tucker (The Americans, Station 19, McLeod’s Daughters, Neighbours).

The plot centres around a British woman and her husband seeking a fresh start in Australia after infidelity rocks their marriage – that’s the plan until they hire a young local nanny who isn’t as innocent as she appears and there are deadly consequences.

The series created by Neighbours Executive Producer Jason Herbison and directed by Scott Major (Neighbours, Playing For Keeps) was commissioned as Breathless in 2019 by Channel 10 and UK’s Channel 5, then retitled as With Intent.

It screened in the UK last month.

The cast also includes Phoebe Roberts, Caroline Gillmer, Stephen Lopez and Ian Bliss.

Update: now out of schedule

  1. I’m just recording Mum’s TV for the week and this doesn’t seem to be screening on Aug 19… has it been postponed David?

  2. Created by Viacom. Fairly obvious rename, Lie To Me is the title of popular Fox drama, and half-a-dozen other shows. Viacom are also distributing it as Breathless. The plot sounds similar to The Cry.
