Foxtel appoints Head of Sports Communications

Foxtel Group has appointed Matt Hagias as Head of Sports Communications for FOX Sports / Kayo.

Hagias has spent the last six years at communications agency One Green Bean, where he sat on the Leadership Team and headed up the Social, Influencer and Production departments. Prior to that, he worked in the media team at the GWS Giants – managing social strategy, implementation and media comms. He is also a former journalist who worked across a range of News mastheads and has recently published a book on AFL sub-cultures, Footy Banners: A Complete Run Through. He sits on the committee of the Moore Park Tigers Junior Football Club, acting as director of coaching.

He will be a great addition and partner in the stories we have to tell on our world-class sport.”

Hagias begins Monday 9th August.
