Dawn Brummer, mother of the late Dieter Brummer, has set up a GoFundMe page in his memory to raise fund for support service Beyond Blue.
“We lost our handsome, talented, funny, complex and beloved Dieter on Saturday morning,” she wrote.
“He has left a massive hole in our lives and our world will never be the same.
“To many, he was a star of their favourite television soap and a much loved cast member. Whilst he has now found peace, we know there are others who are suffering and need help. It is our hope that we can use our collective grief for a positive effect.
“Together, we can raise funds to make a real difference to the lives of those affected by depression and prevent other families feeling as we do now. Please give your support by making a donation in memory of Dieter.”
