What We Do in the Shadows has been renewed for a 4th season.
The news comes ahead of the third season, which is expected in September.
“Fans can’t seem to get enough of What We Do in the Shadows and FX is ready to feed that appetite by setting up the series for a fourth season,” said Nick Grad, president of original programming for FX entertainment. “Our thanks to the extraordinary job by the creative team, cast and crew wh1 keep making a great show better each season.”
The series is based on the feature film of the same name by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, and depicts the exploits of vampires Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) and human, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén).
However Scott Rudin has been dropped as a producer after being accused of systemically abusing his colleagues. Rudin then issued a statement saying he was “stepping back from my film and streaming projects in addition to my work on Broadway.”
What We Do in the Shadows airs in Australia on FOX Showcase and Binge.

Love this show, so quirky and funny, glad to see renewed ahead of release of current season even, still makes me laugh thinking of that line when they thought they were going to a Superb Owl party (what vampire wouldn’t go to that) but they were going to a Super Bowl party to watch the game, vampire mixup lol.
