  1. Looking at the NRL Perth figure of 1000 for the QF I was wondering if they round up the ratings from 0 – that is a figure from 0-1000 or do they round up from 500 that is a figure from 500-1500

  2. So it looks like 7 will eek out another weekly win off the back of AFL; by my count, including the olympics, and assuming seven wins the next 2 weeks which you would expect with the AFL finals, they have 20 wins. A question to you please David: I gather the Olympics are excluded in the weekly win count as they are not an annual event; the 17 days of the olympics I think straddled 4 weeks; so are all 4 weeks excluded from the count or only the 2 weeks which were 7 days of olympics? Thank you.

    1. AFL are having a week off next week as they brought the finals forward 1 week just in case COVID wreaked further havoc. I’d say 9 will win next week, especially if The Block is still on 4 nights a week.

  3. Apparently the goal umpires at the AFL match were waving around “white flags”… Maybe they were on behalf of the 7 network for the weekly ratings, as per some comments mid-week! Sorry guys, I couldn’t resist. Imagine if the AFL game had been close!

    1. I reckon if it were the opposite and Geelong were thumping Melbourne, viewers wouldn’t have kept watching. I reckon since it was the opposite most of the viewers actually stayed and enjoyed watching Geelong getting thumped. (Twitter was going nuts about it) Plus the post-match coverage was unusually high for a thumping, as well as Armchair Experts.
