US medical drama, New Amsterdam will premiere its fourth season on Stan later this month, same day as the US.
It isn’t clear if Nine or 9Now will also be screening, given that’s where the previous 3 seasons debuted.
In New Amsterdam, Dr. Max Goodwin, a brilliant doctor, is appointed as the new medical director at America’s oldest public hospital. He sets out to break the rules and tear up the bureaucracy, in a story inspired by Bellevue Hospital in New York City.
Season 4 picks up from the season 3 finale, with a burgeoning relationship between Max and Dr Helen Sharpe – which fans have been hoping for – seemingly on the horizon. It remains to be seen however, if things will be as easy as they seem.
Wednesday 22 September, with new episodes weekly, on Stan.

I could say that I’m shocked and surprised when I hear that a drama I’ve enjoyed on 9 is now moving to 9pay/Stan. This and Chicago Med were the only 2 shows I’ve watched on 9. Chicago Med S6 has never been shown. S7 starts in the US this month.
Yes I’m really frustrated with Chicago Med. They are currently showing repeats of season 4. And they skipped the season 5 episode 4 which was the Infection crossover with Fire & PD. I checked 9Now to watch it there & they just it wasn’t there.
