The Block hits magic million as Nine claims Sunday

The Block leads in entertainment, Young Talent Time special lifts slot for 10.

The Block led in entertainment stakes at 1.07m metro viewers last night, up on last Sunday’s 961,000.

That was ahead of The Disappearance of William Tyrrell on 689,000, The Masked Singer at 581,000 (rising to 762,000 for Macy Gray reveal) and Restoration Australia (453,000).

Later 60 Minutes drew 583,000 then Young Talent Time: Unmasked (494,000), Manhunt (447,000 / 400,000) and Fires debuted to 354,000.

Nine network won Sunday with 32.0% then Seven 28.3%, 10 18.8%, ABC 14.2% and SBS 6.8%.

Nine News drew 1.05m viewers on Nine with a late edition at 300,000.

Seven News was #1 at 1.11m for Seven.

The Sunday Project was 450,000 / 325,000 on 10. 10 News First pulled 340,000 / 259,000. FBI was 156,000 / 91,000.

ABC News drew 648,000 on ABC. We Hunt Together was 171,000 with Back Roads at 247,000.

On SBS it was Inside Central Station (173,000), SBS World News (161,000 / 139,000), Bowraville Murders (81,000).

ABC News also led multichannels at 209,000.

In Total TV lifts last Sunday were:

The Newsreader: 1.06m
Inside Central Station: 341,000
The Block: 1.62m
The Masked Singer: 794,000
The Disappearance of William Tyrrell: 788,000

    1. Yet to see Fires but will be one of those who watch through iView (Most of my ABC viewing in this way eg Rosehaven and The Newsreader).

      Last night had me trying to work out what to watch – few offerings so much will be viewed later…YTT, Fires, Manhunt. Tuned into The Block and the Rosehaven finale last night.
