The Block, HYBPA? win entertainment slots on Monday.

Seven News, ACA, The Block, and Paying Attention all win as Nine leads Monday.

The Block again led in entertainment on Monday at 876,000 metro viewers, up on last Monday’s 812,000.

It was well in front of 7:30 on 649,000 then Australian Story (602,000), SAS Australia at 599,000 and The Masked Singer on 597,000 (rising to 719,000 for reveal).

Later Have You Been Paying Attention? drew 684,000, Four Corners (431,000), Media Watch (419,000) and Under Investigation (412,000).

Nine network won Monday with 28.7% then Seven 25.3%, 10 21.2%, ABC 17.1% and SBS 7.6%.

Nine News (1.03m / 1.03m) was best for Nine. A Current Affair won its slot at 801,000. Hot Seat pulled 491,000 / 339,000, In select cities were Released to Kill Again (125,000) and 100% Footy (70,000).

Seven News was #1 at 1.14m / 1.06m for Seven. Home & Away drew 631,000 then The Chase (612,000 / 380,000). Movie: Terminator: Dark Fate was 234,000.

The Project pulled 532,000 / 333,000 for 10. 10 News First was 385,000 / 251,000 then Just for Laughs Uncut (213,000).

ABC News was 734,000 for ABC. China Tonight (211,000) and The Drum (199,000) followed.

On SBS it was Secret Scotland (182,000), SBS World News (170,000 / 145,000), Ten Mistakes (157,000) and 24 Hours in Emergency (130,000).

Bluey was back on top of multichannels at 142,000.

Today: 248,000
News Breakfast:  134,000 / 76,000

In Total TV lifts last Monday were:

SAS Australia: 1.24m
The Block: 1.41m
Have You Been Paying Attention?: 1.12m
Media Watch: 786,000

  1. I think 7 has won 18 weeks excluding the olympics, so that means they only need 2 more weekly wins to claim the year on total people watched. Is that correct?

  2. I’m assuming alarm bells would be ringing at Sunrise now? I’m assuming we’ll see more cash giveaways etc. Wonder if we’ll see any host changes by the end of the year?

      1. When you smash your opposition for years, then in a space of a few months that lead diminishes, I imagine that would be a cause for concern? Especially as Brisbane and Melbourne seem to be regularly switching off Sunrise?
