The Voice & The Block top 1m viewers. Bluey booms for ABC.

The Voice leads in The Block in total people -but Nine tops the demos. Big numbers for a new Bluey episode.

It was war at 7pm last night with two shows eclipsing the magic million.

The Voice drew 1.09m metro viewers, just ahead of The Block‘s 1.03m. For Nine it was their highest episode so far this season and, significantly, it topped all three demos.

Australian Survivor trailed at 689,000 from 7:30pm then David Attenborough’s Global Adventure at 352,000 from 7:40pm.

Later 60 Minutes led at 581,000, then Homicide with Ron Iddles 567,000 and The Newsreader on 444,000.

There were also big numbers for a brand new Bluey episode at 459,000 -watch those numbers explode with Timeshifting…

The Paralympics also came to an end last night with the Closing Ceremony at 193,000 on 7mate.

Seven network won Sunday with 33.7% then Nine 29.8%, 10 17.4%, ABC 13.2% and SBS 5.8%.

Seven News was #1 at 1.14m viewers.

Nine News pulled 1.11m with a late edition at 356,000.

The Sunday Project drew 472,000 / 342,000 for 10. 10 News First was 361,000 / 262,000. FBI was 290,000 / 204,000.

ABC News was 653,000. Compass (241,000) and Traces (145,000) followed.

On SBS it was The Real Lawrence of Arabia (171,000), SBS World News (165,000 /149,000) and Children Of 9/11: Our Story at just 57,000.

  1. SBS 11/9 programs will be suffering from overload of such things in the next week-also not helped by the recent coverage of events currently in Afghanistan.

  2. Yeah I agree. Easily the best season in an already amazing run of seasons in Aus. Not to mention it’s still featuring possibly two of the top 5 best players Australia has seen. George in particularly has this incredibly innate sense to be able to feel something isn’t right (evidenced by last nights vote) and act accordingly.
    Bring on the last two eps! George and Hayley as the final two please.

  3. Disappointing that Survivor ratings haven’t really picked up post-merge as they have in past seasons. Has been such a good season, lots of big moves and the outback setting is stunning!
