ABC Children’s appoints new exec producers
Margaret Ross appointed Exec Producer Scripted and Factual; Jo Boag becomes Exec Producer Animation.

ABC has appointed two new Executive Producers to work across its slate.
Margaret Ross has been appointed Executive Producer Scripted and Factual. She is a proud Dhungutti / Gumbayngirr woman from Northern NSW, joining from ABC Indigenous, most recently as ABC Executive Producer on All My Friends Are Racist and Preppers. She begins Monday 8 November, 2021.
Jo Boag is appointed to the newly-created position of Executive Producer Animation. She an Emmy Award winning Creative Director, 2020 ADG Best Direction of an Animation Project Winner and the 2014 B&T Women in Media Creative of the Year winner. Boag has overseen brands such as Space Nova, Alice-Miranda, Guess How Much I Love You, Lexi & Lottie: Trusty Twin Detectives, Captain Flinn and The Pirate Dinosaurs, The Skinner Boys – Guardians of the Lost Secrets, and I Got a Rocket.
She begins on Monday 1 November 2021.
Both positions will report to Mary Ellen Mullane, Managing Editor, ABC Children’s Commissions.
