Axed: Mr. Corman

Apple TV is wasting no time in cancelling Mr. Corman after just one season.

The series by creator and star Joseph Gordon-Levitt, wrapped on Friday. According to the Hollywood Reporter, sources say the audience fell short of some of other Apple TV comedies.

Gordon-Levitt starred as a fifth-grade teacher with anxiety and realising that he likely won’t reach his dream of music stardom. The cast also included Arturo Castro, Debra Winger, Bobby Hall (aka Logic), Alexander Jo, Juno Temple, Jamie Chung, Shannon Woodward and Hector Hernandez.

It’s only the second title cancelled by Apple TV in as many years, joining Little Voice which ended after a single season.
