Newcomers still no match for The Block

The Bachelorette & SAS Australia: Hell Week didn't make enough of a dent in prevent winning another week.

New shows took a hiding last week against Nine’s reigning reality show.

The Bachelorette debuted to 397,000 metro viewers while SAS Australia: Hell Week managed just 387,000.

While both will lift in Total TV viewers, so too will The Block, which drew up to 1.07m viewers.

That ensured Nine easily won the week, including a rare win in Adelaide.

Nine won 16-39 and 25-54 demos.

Nine won every day except Friday, which fell to Seven. ABC bettered 10 on Friday & Saturday.

Nine led 4 cities but Seven held Perth.

Nine: The Block (1.06m), Nine News (Sun: 1.03m), A Current Affair (692,000) and 60 Minutes (620,000).

Seven: Seven News (970,000), 7NEWS Spotlight (596,000), Home & Away (561,000) and The Chase (509,000).

10: Have You Been Paying Attention? (701,000), Gogglebox (596,000), Celebrity MasterChef (588,000) and The Dog House (507,000).

ABC: Gruen (699,000), ABC News (648,000), Australian Story (599,000) and Hard Quiz (594,000).

SBS: Coastal Devon & Cornwall with Michael Portillo (257,000), Australia’s Health Revolution (248,000), Great American Railroad Journeys (220,000) and Insight (211,000).
