Australian Directors’ Guild Awards: hosts, presenters.

Greta Lee Jackson and Nina Oyama will host the 2021 ADG Awards next week.

Comedians, writers and directors Greta Lee Jackson and Nina Oyama will host the 2021 Australian Directors’ Guild Awards next week.

Greta is best known as a presenter and occasional fill-in host of the satirical news series, Tonightly with Tom Ballard on ABC Comedy, as a regular guest presenter on The Feed on SBS, and as one third of the sketch comedy trio Skit Box. Nina has worked on shows including Tonightly with Tom Ballard, Squinters, YOLO Crystal Fantasy and appeared on Utopia, Spicks and Specks, Question Everything, Australia Talks and Just for Laughs Sydney. In 2018, The Angus Project, a TV pilot Nina wrote, directed and starred in, debuted to acclaim, earning her an Australian Directors Guild nomination.

Presenters include legendary Australian director Gillian Armstrong, actor Hunter Page-Lochard (Cleverman), actor Remy Hii (Crazy Rich Asians), director Unjoo Moon (I Am Woman), actor Zoe Terakes (Nine Perfect Strangers), comedic group Freudian Nip, director Jen Peedom (River), director Jasmin Tarasin (The Story of Lee Ping), director and actor Stef Smith (Way Out Assistance) and actor Gerard O’Dwyer (Little Monsters).

The 2021 Australian Directors’ Guild Awards will be held Friday December 3 at the Actors Centre, Sydney.
