  1. No surprise in Lego V Adele after 9 gazzumped 7 with another concert earlier in the week, the Matt Doran misfire, Oprah yak yak yak and an impromptu marriage proposal, it had me running for the Lego….

  2. Legomasters was great, better than I expected. I laughed so hard. I think just the right amount of time has passed since the last season, we were ready for the fun to come back. Good casting choices, and funny writing.

I recorded Adele purely so that I can watch it without the Oprah bits. Many years ago, Oprah was a quality interviewer but those days are long gone, and she lost her credibility by doing the non-Royal interview. Maybe it would have rated higher if it had just been a spectacular Adele performance.

  3. Glad that Adele special is finally over and aired. Hearing that foghorn sometimes twice per commercial break during the 6pm news every night was doing my head in.

  4. I really enjoyed Lego Christmas. Lovely to see people just enjoying being with each other and what they were doing. Love Brickman! Sorry but Adele just makes me want to fall asleep.

  5. Lego masters was fun, do usually watch it but it was better then anything else on, not everyone likes Adele, sure she can sing but her songs are played over and over making them annoying.

  6. Lego Masters was great fun last night. Perhaps an interesting blueprint to try for celebrity specials on certain shows going forward? I thought the ‘favourites & celebrities’ dynamic worked really well.

  7. I tried watching CSI and FBI on 10. The amount of graffiti plastered on the bottom quarter, top left, bottom right was pathetic. It was extremely distracting and annoying. Now I see 10 is planning to run one episode of a new series or two, as a marketing pitch for Paramount+. No thanks, not for us. Did SBS charge Boeing and/or Air France for that hour-long commercial on the Boeing 787?

    1. 10’s “watermarks” (they really can’t be called watermarks any more) are absolutely ludicrous, a massive distraction (often with animations) in the corner of your eye at all times. Ironically, the watermark (that actually is a watermark) on 10play is far more tolerable; shame about the 2000s-era picture quality.

  8. I wonder if the Adele special would have been higher if Seven didn’t wait a week to air the special following the US broadcast. Segments/performances had been easily accessible online all throughout the week prior for anyone who wanted to watch them.

Still, it was a great show. I reckon the UK one would’ve been better. Hopefully that gets picked up here too but it’ll no doubt make its way online either way.
