  1. Yes! Can’t wait for this! Surely Sandra won’t last very long but perhaps amongst the proper fans playing they may want to play alongside her a bit deeper into the game. Hoping this B v W lives up to its potential. I think for the longevity of Australian Survivor, there will always need to be regular seasons with returning/celeb players. I think the ratings would quickly fizzle out if it were always just brand new players.

      1. Yes – perhaps alternating seasons have completely fresh cast. So yes, 2023 completely new cast would be great. It is important to build up new characters for future all stars editions… they won’t get their time to shine and become all stars if they are drowned out by celebs and former contestants all the time.

  2. Very much looking forward to this.

Although survivor needs to learn they don’t need to rely constantly on returning contestants and people within the media. And I feel with the blood vs water theme, this would of been a perfect season to go without tbh. But maybe that’s just me!?

Last season was a clear example of having none of that and being a success. Why they feel the need to do this constantly baffles me.

    However, will watch. Will enjoy.

    1. I think you’re forgetting that Brains vs Brawn featured AFL Legend and Brownlow Medal Winner, Gavin Wanganeen, Tour de France Cyclist Baden Cooke and World No. 2 Big Wave Surfer Flick Palmeteer. That’s 3 more than “none of that” as you describe…

      1. OMG Sandra yess …

I am sooo excited for this!! Even withe stupid twists of saving people for no reason this year – compared to the latest US version it was far superior! Never thought id say that. US was so bad.

        Bring it on australian survivor!!

        1. They save people for ‘no reason’ because they have 24 episodes and 24 cast members. If you do the math, you realise that to end up with 2 people at the end you need to have at least two episodes that end with nobody being voted out. That doesn’t even factor in that someone may quit or be medically evacuated (as has happened in every season).
