Big Bash League begins on Sunday when reigning champions, Sydney Sixers, take on Melbourne Stars screening at 7.30pm AEDT on Channel 7 and 7mate.
Three days later, the Ashes, begins when the game’s oldest rivals, Australia and England, meet for the First Test at the Gabba.
Fans should also get comfortable on the couch during the First Test (8-12 December), as live and free BBL matches will follow soon after stumps on all bar one day’s play at the Gabba.
This includes a mega day next Wednesday when day one of the Test is followed by a show-stopping BBL double-header, featuring Hobart Hurricanes v. Sydney Sixers at 6.30pm AEDT, then Perth Scorchers v. Brisbane Heat at 9.30pm AEDT.
