More adventure ahead for the Pogues…

Netflix has ordered a third season of its young adult drama, Outer Banks.

The renewal comes some four months after the show’s second season debut, which saw John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah (Madelyn Cline) on the run in the Bahamas, still searching for $400 million in gold.

The series held the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s global “top 10 TV series in English” list for the first four weeks following its launch.

Stokes and Cline will return along with Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Drew Starkey and Charles Esten while Carlacia Grant has been upped to series regular for the third season.

Creators Jonas and Josh Pate and Shannon Burke all return as showrunners and executive producers in the third season.
