Nine News reporter Elisabeth Moss wasn’t quite ready for her live cross last night, checking a few finishing touches when Peter Hitchener crossed to her.
She later tweeted an apology, but Hitch, and presumably viewers, didn’t seem to mind.
Absolutely no apologies required Lizzie, those unscripted moments on live television are always the best, and you handled it wonderfully well! 👏

“a technical issue”. I know of a deceased Chief Engineer in the Nine Network who would have torn strips off anyone who referred to an operating stuff-up as “a technical issue”.
Well said Jason, I knew that Chief Engineer too. It’s happening way to often lately on all networks. With the advancements in technology this shouldn’t be happening and its time people were held more to account!
