Vince Colosimo on new drug driving charge

Former Underbelly actor has another court date in February.

Actor Vince Colosimo has been charged with drug driving following an alleged incident last April.

The Herald Sun reports it is the second time he has faced similar charges.

Victoria Police said in a statement: “A 55-year-old Elwood man has been charged on summons with unlicensed and drug driving.

“Prahran Highway Patrol members intercepted a car on St Kilda Road, St Kilda about 2.30pm on Saturday 3 April, 2021.

“It’s alleged the man was driving unlicensed. He also underwent a drug test which returned a positive result.

“His car was impounded and he will appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on February 14.”

The former Underbelly actor has had a number of brushes with the law and was told at a 2017 court case, “You’re risking a jail term … if you’re back here for a fourth time it won’t be pretty.”

Colosimo also features in Nine’s upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice. Nine is understood to have been unaware of the pending case at the time of filming.
