Filming is underway in Tasmania on upcoming Amazon Prime Video comedy Deadloch created by Kate McCartney & Kate McLennan (The Katering Show, Get Krack!n).

The Mercury reports filming has seen sections of Kingston Beach cordoned off to the public over the past week, with the show centring around two detectives solving the case of how a man’s body came to be washed up on the sand in their quiet town.

On Instagram Kate McCartney teased, “A very candid natural photo taken by one of the stars of our show ‘Deadloch’!! But who is it??? All will be revealed soooooon!!”

Produced by Guesswork Television, OK Great Productions and Amazon Studios the 8 part series is a feminist noir comedy set against a bucolic backdrop with a rising body count.
