  1. I had no idea Dancing with the Stars was on last night, I assumed is was still Olympics which seems like it has been on air for 6 months now. The most I have seen of the Olympics was 40 mins as I lay staring at the TV on the ceiling in the dentist chair last week.

  2. My God. DWTS is just a remake of old episodes. Same hosts, judges and cast recreating their long gone former glory.

Todd Kenny attempting to be mean but forgetting how he did it, and Helen simply saying “well done” and salivating over male celebrities. And Mark’s questionable hair.

    And the ratings reflect it.

  3. Oh Sonia Kruger and those constant bad jokes aimed at Todd on Dancing. Embarrassing to say the least and just not funny. So good to see Cameron Daddo on our screens again and what do they do, they vote him off first night! Another embarrassment and just plain ridiculous to my mind. Back to Survivor ‘live’ for me.

    1. The canned applause and laughter on DWTS and lame “jokes” from everyone is why Channel 10’s attempt at the show was superior in every way. How tiresome – Todd is a villain and a queen, Mark has fake hair, Helen is horny – it’s the same over and over again. Also didn’t understand why they chose to only have half the contestants dance this week, not really a fair competition at all.

  4. Hard to believe the winter olys was only on for two weeks. It seemed endless. I’m surprised that Australia only won 4 medals – from the commentation I thought we had hundreds and led the medal table.

    1. Only? Don’t be an insult to our team. It was our best Winter Olympics ever. We should be lucky we even got that much considering we’re not much of a ‘winter’ country. That’s what the hosts were going on and on about

    2. I agree, there seemed to be a lot more to-do about the Winter Olympics than previous years, I felt. And the blanket media coverage just went on and on, even the ABC. Channel 7 in Perth featured a story in the main bulletin, about the people in the outback town of Leonora gathering at the pub to watch a local compete. She hadn’t competed yet – and the story went for ten whole minutes! I repeat, in the main news bulletin, for a competitor who hadn’t competed yet, much less won anything.

    3. You know we’re lucky to get them free and it only happens every 4 years and saying only 4 is an absolute disrespect to our team. 4 medals is the best we’ve ever had at a winter games. We aren’t a winter country and other countries around the world have a paywall and thats the last thing we want. Seven did a bloody good job at both olympics just passed giving us blanket coverage both on FTA and via its app which they deserve. Winter sports is not our thing but people still watch. I am proud of our teams achievements and can’t wait for the paralympics to start.
